The food was good - I tried the Digby Scallops and the Tomato Soup - very flavorful and well cooked. My husband had the Thai Chicken Pasta, which he said was tasty. The price to quality ratio wasn't perfect, but we left feeling full.
It was great food, and great service. It was so busy on Canada Day, but our server was great; she never stopped!
This was a reasonable meal in this small town. It was pretty quiet when we dined very early evening, but the staff were friendly and they had a good IPA available as well as a non-alcoholic beer. My wife had the blackened haddock which she said tasted good (we didn't know what to expect from the description but it wasn't blackened in colour in any way). However, her accompanying fries were only lukewarm (she wanted the fish and wasn't bothered about the fries). I had a vegetarian pizza, which was nice. A reasonable meal for what seems like a reasonable price around here.
Excellent, friendly service. Our food was all amazing: 3 of us had the fettuccini Alfredo, it was THE BEST we’ve ever had. 100% recommend trying the mini chocolate mousse, very cute and worth it.
We showed up 15 min before closing, just rolled into town to stay across the street, dead tired and literally had nothing to eat except cereal or eggs. We decided to see if the Bistro would take us, the waitress said no problem, that’s what we are here for! We come from Calgary, if you showed up 30 min before closing you’d get a big O’ld FU. Complete opposite here, we were welcomed, explained the menu, told us what she would recommend. Excellent service. I’m a GM, your evening waitress is gold! Your chef, also gold! Pizza was amazing. Pastas made fresh, we tried them all, all were dam good! Scallops were a bit pricey, but cooked perfectly. Washrooms were clean. Decor was nice. Well lit. Clean inside. Again, thank you to the staff for taking us! If we pass through again or know of people going, you’ll be on the top of our list of recommendations! Cheers
